Nicholas received his PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before that, he completed his undergraduate degree in Chicago and is excited to be returning to the city. As a lifelong Midwesterner and diehard Cubs fan, he is excited to help develop Chicago into a global hub for quantum technology.
Nicholas is a Quantum Computing Research Program Manager at IQMP, serving as a subject matter expert in experimental quantum physics and quantum technology. He applies his experience running a quantum physics experiment to building the IQMP (e.g., the technical requirements for facilities devoted to quantum technology).
