Learn about the National Quantum Algorithm Center (NQAC) at the IQMP
The National Quantum Algorithm Center (NQAC) at the IQMP is the platform for non-quantum companies and scientists across sectors to work with the Park’s quantum technology.
The NQAC is a membership organization that brings together industry end-users of quantum technology, quantum companies, academia, national labs and partners to advance quantum algorithms and applications that generate value for companies and society.
NQAC’s offerings include:
- Research on specific Grand Challenges to develop high-impact quantum algorithms and applications
- Corporate education and training programs to support industries and scientists on their quantum journeys
- Prioritized access to IQMP’s quantum hardware and software to develop, test and run algorithms and applications
Society is facing major problems that cannot be solved by classical computers alone.
Algorithms and applications are the key to unlocking the full potential of quantum technology.

Quantum-accurate molecular property prediction from first-principles physics
Finance & Risk
Rare event sampling for tail-risk modeling
Energy
Non-convex optimization with linear non-constraints (e.g. for power grid)
Chemistry
Accurate reaction thermodynamics prediction for industrial chemical processes
Materials
Accurate quantum simulation of strongly correlated materials

Member Benefits:
