Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker are behind a statewide quantum computing push that’s beginning to take shape on Chicago’s south side.
The technology is expected to leave contemporary computers in the dust, a seismic shift the siblings expect will lead to new cures for diseases, novel solutions to climate change and a major economic boom in their hometown of Chicago.
