Emily Easton serves as Director of Education and Workforce Development for the Chicago Quantum Exchange, an intellectual hub based at the University of Chicago with educational members across the Midwest and industry partners around the world.
Emily advances a wide range of education and workforce development initiatives — including degree programs, courses, outreach activities, and workforce strategies — designed to prepare students and professionals from a wide range of backgrounds for careers in the growing quantum economy.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in education and career development, Emily brings both strategic and operational expertise to her work.
She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as an M.A. and B.A. in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
