Celia Colón is a lifelong Southeast Sider and violence prevention activist, inspired by the memory of her sister. To her, the IQMP isn’t just for developing groundbreaking technology, but also a chance to bring healing and opportunity to her community after decades of disinvestment.
As the CEO and founder of the transformation, re-entry, training and healing center Giving Others Dreams G.O.D Inc., Celia has dedicated her career to helping connect her neighbors with education, civic and wellness programs designed to change South Chicago for the better.
Now with the IQMP taking shape and bringing new investment and workforce development opportunities, the future Celia envisions is closer than ever before.
